Robert & Witney Look Back on Their Transformative DWTS Journey
The finale is just one day away, and Robert nd Witney are taking in every moment of their final week in the ballroom. In a video posted to the show’s official Instagram account, the pair reflected on the challenges, personal growth, and friendship that carried them to the biggest night of the season.
“Witney, we made it to the finale. At the start of this whole process, I had no idea what to expect and I knew this was a dream,” Robert said.
“It felt impossible, like this huge mountain to climb. But as soon as I opened the door and saw that you were going to be my partner, I felt instantly safe and supported. You have not only been the person to believe in me and have faith in me, but you’ve also made me a better person in so many ways and I want to say ‘thank you.’”
Witney responded through tears. “I am so proud of you. You have really impressed me so much with your maturity. Every situation you handle in life. You’re so passionate and positive, and you uplift everyone around you. It has been such a memorable, special season for me. I’ll never forget it.”
She added, “Just know that you’ll have another older sister to bug you and annoy you and tell you what to do in life. Just know that I am your number one fan forever and I just want the absolute best for you.”
The Duo Face an Intense 3-Dance Finale Night

Robert and Witney will perform three routines in the DWTS season 34 finale, making it one of the most demanding final episodes in recent memory. For the Judge’s Choice round, they will take on a Quickstep to “Are You Gonna Be My Girl” by Jet with guidance from Derek Hough, who partnered with Bindi Irwin during her 2015 Mirrorball-winning season.
Their Freestyle will be set to “Black & Gold” by Sam Sparro and “The Nights” by Avicii. They will then face the Instant Dance Challenge, where neither the style nor the song will be revealed until minutes before they take the floor.
Robert and Witney are one of five couples still competing for judges’ scores and viewer votes. The remaining finalists include:
