Sydnie Christmas is officially kicking off the joyful holiday season with a brand-new live recording and music video of the classic “Joy to the World,” giving fans an early Christmas present straight from London’s historic Trafalgar Tavern.

The Britain’s Got Talent 2024 winner has just launched a brand-new YouTube channel dedicated to festive covers called “Christmas with Sydnie Christmas,” and fans are already calling it “the real Christmas channel.” Her warm vocals and big personality shine through the whole video, and viewers can’t stop commenting on how happy she looks, especially at the end when her face lights up with pure joy.
One fan wrote, “This is turning into the best Christmas ever!!! Thanks Syd, just lovely.” Another added, “I am SO HAPPY. JUST SO HAPPY.” And someone else joked, “Christmas singing at CHRISTMAS! Ha! Merry Christmas everybody!”
The video is quickly becoming a holiday favorite, and Sydnie’s supporters are even begging for more, with requests like “Please sing Let It Go… Frozen!”
This festive release comes just weeks after Sydnie spoke directly to fans who worried about her looking “tired” in a recent Instagram Story. The 30-year-old musical theatre star quickly cleared things up, explaining that she was perfectly fine — just not wearing makeup.
She said, “Guys, I just haven’t got any makeup on. I’m fine, I am completely fine! It’s so funny that the second you don’t have any makeup on, people think you’re not well.”
Since winning BGT, Sydnie has been on a whirlwind journey:
• She released her debut album My Way
• Performed for King Charles at the Royal Variety Performance
• Flew to LA, where she met Michael Bublé and Jennifer Hudson
• Starred as Cruella de Vil in 101 Dalmatians: The Musical
• Made guest appearances on Loose Women, This Morning, and more

Even with all the success, Sydnie says fame hasn’t changed her. She laughs that people rarely recognize her on the Tube and once even thought she was someone’s manager.
Looking ahead, Sydnie says she hopes to release another album and simply keep performing in any way she can. “Every opportunity, I’m happy for. As long as it carries on, then I’m happy,” she said.

And with her new festive channel — and this glowing “Joy to the World” performance — Sydnie Christmas is proving once again why fans adore her: she brings heart, joy, and real warmth to every moment.
