Sydnie Christmas has given fans a good laugh with a playful new video that quickly went viral.
In the clip, the Britain’s Got Talent winner appears to be playing the piano while singing Hallelujah. She even jokes in the caption, writing, “My piano playing has come a long way.” At first, many viewers believed she had picked up an impressive new skill.
But the surprise comes at the end.
Fans soon realized Sydnie was not actually playing at all. Instead, her boyfriend Harry was sitting behind her, quietly doing all the piano work while she pretended to play. The reveal left viewers laughing, with comments flooding in almost instantly.
“You got me!” one fan wrote. Another added, “OMG, you really had me going!” Others praised the couple’s chemistry, calling them a “dream team” and “two goofballs.” Many also applauded Harry’s real piano skills, while saying Sydnie’s smile and sense of humor made the video even better.

Sydnie won Britain’s Got Talent in 2024, taking home £250,000 and earning the chance to perform at the Royal Variety Performance. She first stunned the judges with her version of Tomorrow from Annie, earning Amanda Holden’s golden buzzer. In the final, her performance of Over the Rainbow helped her beat magician Jack Rhodes and dance duo Abigail and Afronita.
Since her win, the 29-year-old singer from Kent has stayed grounded. She revealed earlier this year that she returned to school to finish her Level Three personal training qualification, saying it was important to have something to fall back on. Sydnie has also shared that she placed her prize money into savings, hoping to use it one day to buy a house.
Her music career, however, is moving fast. Sydnie sold out her first New York show at Sony Hall, released her debut album My Way, and recently shared a special cover of We’ll Meet Again to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
