A short clip of her rehearsing “Believer” went viral, amassing more than 1.4 million views and flooding the comment sections with praise. Fans hailed her as “one of the best voices of all time within 10 years,” and the responses were as enthusiastic as they were diverse:

“You’re singing voice is so incredible, keep it up.”
“Let’s ave it xx”
“From one audition that I was speechless watching! Look where our lives can lead us. You are amazing. Melbourne Australia”
“I cannot even think of another current singer with that belt, range, and mastery of dynamics!”
Rehearsals for her concert were officially completed on Tuesday, September 9, with Sydnie posting: “Rehearsals for my concert done ✔️ WHO’S COMING.” Fans chimed in with excitement, sharing their hopes to see her live despite obstacles like the London tube strike, and applauding her refinement, passion, and growing artistry.

The viral clip comes as Sydnie returns to the studio to work on her first album of original songs, following the release of My Way, her album of covers last year. In a recent interview with Bizarre’s Jack Hardwick, she explained her excitement:
“I never thought I’d have an album of original songs. I have been writing since I was young and never thought I’d see the light of day. Now, as an adult, I am getting the opportunity to write and work out my style. People have seen me and just think, ‘She’s musical theatre,’ which is all I’ve ever known — but it’s not all I sing. I am really enjoying the process. It’s talking about my life and my adventures and my experiences.”
Sydnie plans to share her new music first with BGT judge Amanda Holden, saying: “All it takes is for me to message her and she replies and vice versa. I have got a demo of a song that I need to send her. I would never go, ‘Plug this for me,’ but I’d ask her opinion on the music.”

Fresh off a successful run as Cruella de Vil in 101 Dalmatians at London’s Hammersmith Apollo, Sydnie is now preparing to headline her own One Night Only style show in London’s West End, set for September 9 at the Adelphi Theatre. The show will also be filmed for PBS in America, and she promises fans new songs they haven’t heard before.
“I try and be clever when I pick what songs I want to do,” she explained. “I think, ‘where do I want to be in the future?’ so if I want to be in a certain musical, I may do a medley from that, and hopefully if any casting directors come to the show they think they could see me in that show and maybe I get an audition. I’ve got all my sparkly outfits lined up. I love the glitter and feeling that energy.”

With a voice praised for its range, emotion, and unmatched clarity, Sydnie Christmas is quickly proving that her rise from BGT winner to global musical sensation is only just beginning. Fans are already counting down the days to her solo show, ready to witness a performer whose talent continues to astonish and whose heart resonates in every note.
