Sydnie Christmas has been quietly laying the groundwork for a major new chapter in her career after stepping back from the spotlight since her appearance on Magic Radio during the Christmas season of 2025.

While fans have noticed her lower public profile in recent months, the Britain’s Got Talent winner has been far from idle. In fact, she is officially back in the studio, working on a project that could take her artistry to an entirely new level.
After her chart-topping rise and the release of My Way—an album of classic covers that showcased her powerhouse vocals—Sydnie is now turning inward.
She is currently recording her first album made up entirely of original songs, something she admits once felt almost impossible. Speaking during a candid conversation at Bizarre HQ, Sydnie described the moment as surreal, revealing that songwriting has always been part of her life, even long before fame.

“I never thought I’d have an album of original songs,” she said, explaining that many of the pieces were written years ago and tucked away, never expected to be heard. Now, as an adult artist, she finally feels she has the freedom to explore her own sound and define who she is beyond the labels people have placed on her.
For many viewers, Sydnie is still closely associated with musical theatre—a world she knows and loves. But she made it clear that this new music shows a broader side of her identity.

The songs draw heavily from her own life, personal adventures, and the experiences that have shaped her journey since winning Britain’s Got Talent. It is a deeply personal project, and one she says she is enjoying more than anything she has done before.
Despite keeping things low-key publicly, Sydnie has maintained close ties with those who supported her early on. She revealed that BGT judge Amanda Holden is one of the first people she plans to share her new demos with. The two remain in regular contact, and Sydnie values Amanda’s opinion, even if it stays behind the scenes rather than becoming public praise.

Away from the studio, Sydnie has continued to prove her versatility on stage. She recently wrapped up a successful run as Cruella de Vil in 101 Dalmatians at the Hammersmith Apollo in London, earning praise for her performance.
Sydnie also admitted she is strategic when choosing her setlist, often thinking about future roles she would love to land. By performing certain medleys, she hopes casting directors might see her in a new light and imagine her in upcoming productions. While she describes herself as a tomboy in everyday life, onstage she fully embraces glamour, sparkle, and theatrical energy.
With original music on the way, major live performances planned, and international exposure ahead, Sydnie Christmas appears to be building something special—quietly, carefully, and very much on her own terms.
